Furnishings

All the apartments are composed of a lovely living room with a kitchenette, a double room and a bathroom. The furnishings have been planned and selected to create a comfortable, cosy atmosphere, with carefully chosen colour schemes and attention to detail.
At the same time, we have aimed to find solutions which allowed the spaces to be used in a practical, convenient way.
The furnishings and materials were selected by a contemporary artist, Clementina Brescianino, the mother of Roberto and Sergio. At least one of her creations can be admired in each apartment: a painting or an object in macramé, made entirely by hand using linen or cotton yarns (fans, bed heads, lamp shades, etc.).
All the apartments have hand-made terracotta floor tiles. The furniture consists mainly of authentic Tuscany antiques (from 1800). In the two first-floor apartments (Libeccio and Tramontana), the bare barn-type ceiling decorated with pinewood beams offers elegant simplicity with a rustic feel.
The floors and walls of the kitchens of each apartment and the bathrooms on the first floor are tiled with hand-crafted ceramic tiles from the famous Vietri ceramic district, embellished with singular decorative motifs.
The tiles in the bathrooms of the first-floor apartments are also hand-made and have particular shapes and colour shades.
All the ceramic items in the apartments (vases, trays, lamp stands etc.) are from Montelupo Fiorentino, the ancient homeland of classic Tuscan ceramics (of which collections can be seen at the Bargello Museum in Florence).
Each apartment has its own outdoor patio area, with tables and chairs, and is covered by a porch or pergola, decorated with climbing plants.

What does the apartment include?

In the living room of each apartment you will find a display of our products (wine and extra virgin olive oil).
We have compiled a guide book for our guests (one in each apartment) which contains not only a presentation of our farm and its products, but a series of useful information to allow you to enjoy a pleasant and intense "Tuscan" holiday (on restaurants, museums, supermarkets, markets in surrounding towns, village fairs and festivals, excursions and near-by activities).
